How we work
Culticlayer has been a compact studio on Bilderdijkstraat 112 since 2020. We work with artists, bands, producers and podcasters who want usable files: labelled takes, a tidy session folder and notes you still understand at home.

Oud-West, a short walk from tram 7
The live room is about 38 m² with sight lines to the desk; booths stay dry enough for vocals without a choked tone. Tram 7 stops at Bilderdijkstraat; from the Bilderdijkstraat stop it is about a 3-minute walk to number 112. From Amsterdam Centraal, tram 7 towards Slotervaart takes roughly 12 minutes. By bike from Leidseplein it is about 8 minutes via Overtoom.
Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 12:00–17:00. Closed Sunday and Monday.. More about the building and team on about us.

Consumer prices on the site include 21% VAT. Example: vocals from €92 per hour.

How do I reserve studio time?
Send contact with service and preferred dates. We reply within 3 working days with a proposal and quote. After acceptance and a 25% deposit the slot is firm.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Shown amounts include 21% VAT unless net is explicitly stated. Business invoices can show €76.03 etc. on request.
Can I reschedule?
Up to 5 days before start you can move or cancel free of charge. Closer to the date, terms and conditions apply.
What do you deliver?
Usually 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz, labelled takes or a stereo mix depending on the service. See pages such as Mixing.
How long do you keep projects?
Session backups stay 18 months with us. Download and back up yourself; after that we delete per privacy policy.
