Cookie policy
This English text is for convenience. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Cookiebeleid
In brief
- No measurement pixels, no advertising networks and no social-media buttons.
- One local key: cltc_consent_v1, kept for 182 days.
- Typefaces, photos and scripts load from this domain, not from advertisers.
- You reopen the banner with the control below, without emailing us.
- The host’s technical logs are not cookies; they are covered in the privacy policy.
1. What a cookie or tracker is
This page explains which cookies and similar techniques the Culticlayer site in Amsterdam uses, what they store and how you set your choice. A cookie is a small text file on your device. Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act also covers other trackers, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage). We treat them the same way: consent in advance, unless the technique is strictly necessary to show the page you asked for.
The Dutch text is authoritative. This English page is a faithful rendering for readers who prefer English.
2. What this site does and does not set
culticlayer.click sets one first-party tracker: the storage of your consent choice. It holds no name, email or phone number. We set no third-party measurement code, no advertising cookie, no embedded map or video that writes its own cookies, and no social share button. Typography, images and the site script come from this domain. The host is TransIP B.V. in Leiden; its server logs are not cookies and are described in article 4 of the privacy policy.
The contact form itself does not place a cookie. The contents of that form go through FormSubmit in the United States; that is a transfer of form data, not a browser cookie. If you want to avoid that route, write to [email protected] or call 020 737 4821.
3. The five categories
Strictly necessary
This technique lets the site remember what you chose about cookies. It is exempt from consent and cannot be switched off in the banner, because we would otherwise ask again on every page.
| Name | Duration | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| cltc_consent_v1 | 182 days | Local storage (localStorage). Stores your choice per category and the date of that choice, so the banner does not return on every click. |

The banner shows three actions of equal weight: accept all, reject all and choose yourself. The site stays usable if you refuse. After 182 days we ask again. That approach follows the Dutch Data Protection Authority’s line on cookie consent: an equivalent reject control, no pre-ticked optional boxes, and access to the content regardless of your choice.
4. Changing your choice
You change or withdraw consent without writing to us, by reopening the banner:
You can also delete or block cookies and site data in the browser. If you clear this domain’s data, the banner appears again. Official help pages:
For another browser, use that maker’s own help page. Questions about personal data, separate from this technical choice, belong in the privacy policy or at contact. The accessibility statement describes how to operate the banner with a keyboard. Editorial guides, such as band layout in the live room, do not load extra cookies.
5. Changes
If we ever add an optional tracker, we put it in the right category, ask for consent again and update this page. Until then the four optional categories stay empty. Effective date: 1 October 2026. Checked: 1 October 2026. Company details are on the legal notice page. Studio rates, for example €118 per hour of Live band recording including 21 % VAT, sit on the services page; those prices do not set an extra cookie.
