Who books the table

Podcasters leaving the bedroom setup, companies archiving a quarterly discussion, bilingual interview series and hosts who want guests in person instead of only Riverside. Up to 4 seats at the table; a fifth person may listen in the control area without a mic.

Live audience or Zoom call-ins can sometimes work, but internet and latency stay your responsibility — we deliver the studio capture, not full remote production unless booked separately.

Table layout and monitoring

Fixed table mics on arms, pop filters and individual headphones. The room is treated so voices stay intelligible without sounding like a cave. Lars Hendriks or an engineer sets gain per voice before you start; during the talk we only step in for clipping or loose cables.

No standard video lighting package; a small host-owned camera is fine when it does not crowd the mics. Music livestreams usually fit live band recording or another layout better.

Prep for hosts and guests

• Send a question list or outline so we know segment length.
• Ask guests to skip jangly jewellery at the mic.
• Test remote links at home; in the studio the focus is microphones, not IT support.
• Buffer intro and outro — those minutes count toward booked time.

Directions: Tram 7 stops at Bilderdijkstraat; from the Bilderdijkstraat stop it is about a 3-minute walk to number 112. From Amsterdam Centraal, tram 7 towards Slotervaart takes roughly 12 minutes. By bike from Leidseplein it is about 8 minutes via Overtoom.. Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 12:00–17:00. Closed Sunday and Monday..

Rates and what is covered

€265 covers a session up to two hours raw recording including setup and export as quoted. Longer recording bills at €72 per extra hour or via a longer block booked upfront.

Basic editing here means trims at start/end, consistent names, maybe a light noise gate on silence — not an hour of removing every “um” unless you book that as separate edit work. Heavy editing sits outside this rate.

File formats and rights

Default delivery is wav per stem plus a stereo reference; mp3 for quick review on request. 48 kHz unless your podcast host requires otherwise — say so when booking.

Conversations may contain personal data. You are controller for your show; we process audio under our privacy policy and can sign a data processing agreement for business clients. Music rights for jingles stay with you or your licensor — we do not give legal advice; see disclaimer.

Revisions, turnaround and exclusions

Raw export is usually same day or within a few business days when sessions end late; exact timing is in your confirmation. Edit revisions are limited: 2 rounds apply to paid edit jobs, not to re-recording an episode because content went wrong.

Excluded: transcription, translation, uploading to Spotify/Apple, thumbnail design, guest travel, catering and live streaming engineering. Minimum age 16 to book alone; younger hosts with parent/guardian present.

Booking, deposit and cancellation

Confirmation needs a 25% deposit; balance per terms and conditions. Free reschedule until 5 days ahead; afterwards the deposit may be forfeited. Quotes answered within 3 business days via [email protected] or 020 737 4821.

Business invoices: 21-day terms with valid VAT id. Archive 18 months — download masters in time.
